Alchemy Systems is looking to immediately recruit an experienced systems support person. You must be truly hands on, understanding that a client with a duff keyboard is also important and your responsibility too!
Alchemy’s clients range from start-up companies with just a couple of PCs and Sage up to £30M multi-site complex infrastructures across the whole of the southwest 7 counties.
Working from Honiton you will be commercially sound and like working for a small business, and a team player – you are always highly visible.
You will be responsible for help desk calls, project builds and installations, onsite support, system admin training and have prime responsibility for technical management of allocated client accounts.
We are looking for the following skills
- Build systems and administration experience of-
- Microsoft Small Business Server
- Microsoft Server 2008
- Microsoft Exchange
- HyperV and / or VMware
- Good Active directory knowledge
- Major security product venders
- Current Microsoft Desk top applications
- Build and support on IBM, Lenovo and HP servers, SAN,
- WAN skills – Routers / inter site VPN
- VoIP
- Cloud systems
- Legal market / education / estates management experience
- Software skills – script writing batch files
- Intranet design Access / SQL / asp.net /
- Web development and management
